NDPL is mainly known as North Delhi Power Limited Company. It is a joint venture of two companies these are Tata Power and government of NCR Delhi. The firm provides electricity in North and North West part of Delhi and serves more than 1,350,00 registered customers. The NDPL started its commercial operation in the year of 2002. The functional area is spread in approximately 510 square kilometer and handles 1573 MW of power. Laterally the firm changed its name into Tata Power and Delhi Government Limited. NDPL offers the online billing system, through this customer can easily make the payment online. The firm also provides consultancy and project management services to Uttar Pradesh and Haryana States. SCADA, OTS and Geographical information systems are the some automated systems of the NDPL. The company received many awards like Safety Innovation Award in year 2014, Skoch Reaissance Award in year 2014 and also received National Award.
