Treatment for Acne

One thing that irritates us most is Acne. We often feel complex about our appearance. It happens usually with the teens. They get depressed with Acne very easily. But, hey relax. Bring a smile on your face. Acne is not a major problem. It is curable easily. All you have to do is keep your face clean.

Acne (commonly known as Pimples) usually affect the skin of males and females during puberty. But, there are few cases where women have acne in their mid to late 20s as well.

You don’t need a doctor’s prescription for starting up with your Acne treatment. You can start it all by yourself and at your home!!

Start with cleansing first:

• Wash your face with mild cleansers twice a day. You can include Dove, Neutrogena, Cetaphil or Body Shop’s Tea Tree cleanser. This will keep the skin clean and minimize irritation.

• Use mild scrubs once a week. They help in removing the outer layer of the skin and thus open pores.

• You can try Body Shop’s Tea Tree range. It is effective and worth buying.

It’s my own personal experience that going to doctor and playing with your Acne, irritates them more. It’s better not to take doctor’s help, rather treat them yourself.

Avoid oral applications of gels and oral antibiotics. This will reduce your acne once, but as soon as you stop taking medications, your Acne will increase again.

There are few simple steps you can do at home:

• Mix one spoon of Gram Flour (Besan) and a pinch of Turmeric. Add water and make a paste. The paste should be of an equal consistency of cake batter.

• Apply this mixture on your face and neck.

• Leave on till it dries completely.

• Now wet your hands and slowly rub your face and neck.

• Then wash with cold water.

This will help reduce tanning and also prevents Acne growth. Further, it enhances your complexion.

It is said that parlor cleansing and facials help in reducing Acne and brings back you skins lost sheen. It is not true at all. I have taken treatments from various reputed parlors and doctors as well. But, they were of no help.

Instead, I started taking care of my skin with homemade natural products.

You need to purify your skin in order to prevent Acne. So, drink lots of water. You can also start drinking ‘Khadirarishta’ it’s a blood purifier from Dabur. It is easily available in the market.

A simple and a natural way to get a problem free skin is to stay happy and tension free.

Treat your pimples naturally and bid good bye to Acne.
